The Baker Family Production

On Saturday night we went to the Baker's stake musical and it was so much fun. Derek, Megan, Emily, and Nate were all in the musical and they did such a great job! Here are some pictures to blackmail them all with in the future. :)

Derek looks great in a kilt!

Like father, like son

Not the best picture since that kid is moving and it's a little blurry, but it is a great picture of Megan in her costume from Peter Pan

The final number

They all did such a great job and we're so proud of them! We're so sad that we weren't able to get any pictures of Emily, but she looked great as one of the girls in The King and I.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Saturday the 17th (St Patrick's Day) was Mom's birthday, and the Wood family celebrated by going to Elephant Bar for dinner. The food was great and we learned some new things about my parents: my mom steals cell phones and my dad can snap a straw in two by flicking it.

Mom's lighthouse present.

We got her birthday present in Cambria during our honeymoon. We know how much she loves lighthouses and this welcome sign seemed perfect for her.

Dinner and a Movie

We recently decided to start a Friday night pizza and movie tradition and so far we really enjoy it. We received some pizza making stuff as a wedding gift, so we made a pepperoni pizza together.

Ryan was very particular with the pepperoni distribution

The pizza was so good and we were given enough dough mix for three more pizzas, so we're excited! We watched Lake House, which is a pretty good movie. It was confusing at first, but if you just keep watching it answers your questions. Just to help those of you that haven't seen it yet, she's in the future and he's in the past. We were debating about it for probably the first half hour, so that should make it somewhat less confusing.

Happy Birthday, Jessica!

Last night we had dinner at the Wood's to celebrate Jessica's birthday. It was a lot of fun to see Jessica, Jerrin, and Eli again!

Happy 27th Birthday! (Ryan claims it says 27)

Hosting Our First Dinner Party (aka feeding the missionaries)

We invited the missionaries over for dinner on Saturday and it was a lot of fun preparing a meal for them (no, we didn't feed them pizza).

Yummy apple pie

We really enjoyed feeding the missionaries and we're pretty sure they liked the food since it was all gone. They left us with a 30 day challenge to find someone for them to teach and:

Happy Spring/St. Patrick's Day!

We finally got around to taking down the Valentine's Day decorations, but since we only have one decoration for St. Patrick's Day we decided it was time to start decorating for spring also.

Our lonely St. Patrick's Day decoration.

Reeses pieces eggs are the best!

Spring cookies! Ryan took a bunch of them to work and his coworkers loved them.

Spring is also a time for cleaning, so we've been busy with that this week as well. We started putting a bag together for DI and last night we organized our pantry. It's so nice to have everything so organized!

We should have taken a before shot because it was not very organized at all. Baking stuff was on a couple shelves and there were cans all over because they didn't fit in the bins, so now everything is where it belongs.
