Baby's First Easter

We had a lot of fun celebrating Carter's first Easter. The Easter Bunny was kind enough to stop by on Saturday night because he knew we would be busy with church on Sunday. After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa Bradley's for a yummy Easter dinner.

The Easter Bunny brought lots of goodies!

Guitar Hero IV: Rock Baby

We had a double date with friends Astrid and Adam last night, and of course our new tagalong Carter. After dinner we went back to our place and watched some Battlestar Galactica and played Guitar Hero.

We learned that Carter is a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

ALMOST GOT IT

So I didn't know you could upload videos right into a blog post. I think that's how we'll roll from now on.

And to celebrate, here's a quickie as shot by Katie at work today. I LOVE his funny efforts to get the pacifier.

Go baby, go!

New Katie: Pt 2

After getting her hair cut, Katie picked out a new color and dyed her new do:

She's so beautiful!

All the Cool Kids Are Doing It

Katie wanted to donate her lovely hair to Locks of Love like Lauren (is that enough l's?) so she headed out to the salon on Saturday to do the deed.

The New Katie, with hair 10 inches shorter:

Oh, but that's not all! Stay tuned for more!

Dance!

We were watching the movie "Drumline" on TV, and Katie noticed that Carter was watching, and starting to act funny:

Will our boy be a drummer or a dancer when he grows up?

SMILE!

A Visit to Legoland

We were invited down to Legoland for a special "Friends and Family" after-hours premiere night of a new section of the park by our friend Gary, a Master Model Builder who I knew for a few years preceding this lofty calling. The theme of the new area is Adventurers, and featured an Egyptian adventure theme complete with pyramids and camels.

At the park entrance. Unfortunately because of the late hour the giant LEGOLAND sign behind us wasn't lit up.

We stayed that night at Gary and his wife's home, and there experienced a whole other kind of Legoland. Even though I've seen it before, sleeping under the watchful eye of all that brick was surreal.

This is just one of the walls covered in Lego shelves and bins.

Katie is just glad my collection isn't this huge (yet!)

Happy 75th Birthday, Papa!

This weekend we went down to San Diego for Papa's 75th birthday party. It was a lot of fun and Carter was able to meet more relatives.
