ScienCenter Star Wars Exhibit

Last Saturday me, Katie, Chris and Adam went to the California ScienCenter to see the "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination" exhibit on display. We were expecting a long wait, but were pleasantly surprised by the half hour line into the exhibit. Check out some of the things we saw:

Greeting us right inside the entryway was Luke's landspeeder.

Several popular models were on prominent display (from left to right- top row: TIE fighter, Star Destoyer bottom row: Rebel Blockade Runner, Millenium Falcon.)

And of course the X-wing!

We saw costumes and creatures, including Darth Vader and Chewy!

Katie made friends with Yoda, R2-D2, and C-3PO.

In the parking lot afterwards, we saw this somewhat famous car customized by a huge Star Wars fan. It is so cool! You can see more pics of it here.

Easter Egg Hunt

After decorating Star Wars eggs saturday night, we set the gang loose in the apartment to find a couple dozen eggs Katie and I had hidden earlier. Let the games begin!

Astrid wonders where all the eggs are while Adam and Holly comb the living room.

Astrid and Holly show off their finds.

Chris found the most eggs!

After they finished, Katie and I went out of the room and they hid the eggs for us to find. Turns out we ended up with more eggs than they found, meaning they hadn't found a couple that we had hidden! To their credit, though, they hid some real tough ones...

The search is on!

They were hiding in every nook and cranny.

Tallying up our finds.

Two more hidden in my cheeks!

Happy Easter!

On Saturday night we had some friends over and had fun decorating eggs Star Wars style.
