Adorable Carter

We know everyone loves Carter pictures, so here are some more recent ones. He's getting so big and is now sitting up like a pro!

Carter looks so cute in the blanket Lauren made for me a couple Christmases (is that a word?) ago.


Carter likes to hold his bottle all by himself, which means a good 5 minutes for Mom to get some work done.

My sister sent me a bunch of her boys' baby clothes and Carter is starting to grow into them. The overalls he's wearing used to be Chase's and he's 7.

While I was off at a shoot for a school project all day yesterday, Katie tossed the baby Legos out to Carter to play with again, and he's starting to figure them out. Thankfully she took photos and video for me to see when I got home.

Photo Op

Long overdue, we finally took Carter to the JCPenny studio on Saturday to have our professional photos taken of our little boy. Despite the stress of making sure we arrived on time and keeping the baby on as strict a schedule as possible to catch him at his happiest during the shoot, it went off really well and we all had an easy time of it. The photographer didn't have to do much to get him to smile, especially since he's not shy and loves cameras so much already. It went so well, in fact, that we had so many great options to choose from when ordering prints that we almost couldn't decide. Many of you will be getting a copy after we get the prints back in a couple weeks.

What? Make you wake a few weeks for pics? We wouldn't do that to you. Here are a few pics and videos (you're welcome Lauren :P) taken throughout this weekend (sorry, none at the studio itself) of us and our happy little baby:
