We apologize for the delay in posts, but things have been crazy lately. I've been serving on a jury for the past 3 weeks and I'm hoping it will all be over tomorrow. Thankfully my mom has been able to watch Carter, so he's been having fun with her while I hang out in lovely Compton. Ryan has been extremely busy finishing up his very stressful semester. His last final is on Thursday and we're going to celebrate with a wonderful vacation to Utah to visit his family for Christmas. To top off all the stress and busy schedules, we've all been sick with some stomach bug Carter passed on to us.

Carter met Santa for the first time at my parents' ward Christmas party on the 13th. This picture cracks me up!
Carter got to see Santa again the next day when my boss invited us to his yacht club.

A friend of my boss's fell in love with Carter and took him over to see the other kids who were decorating cookies. Two of the kids wanted Carter to have their cookies and he got the frosting all over his face and hands, so she brought him back to us.

I love the pictures. Carter looks darling in his "preppy yacht" outfit. I was a little dissapointed with his santa pic, at this age he should be red-faced screaming in fear of the stranger! :) I hope you guys have a great Christmas! We miss you guys, I can't believe my little nephew is getting so big and I've never gotten to smoother him in kisses...maybe after Ken is done is with school we can make a trip to Cali.
Carter does not look too sure about this Santa thing in that first picture.
