Happy 1st Birthday, Connor Glen!

It's hard to believe, but our little baby turned 1 today! It seems like his first year flew by even faster than it did with Carter, which I didn't think was possible. Connor has been such a great addition to our family and we love him so much! Happy Birthday, pi baby! Here are just a few pictures of our first year with our little guy:

Connor's First Tooth (Teeth)

Connor finally got his first two teeth on February 7th. He'd been teething for quite a while, but I guess he had some stubborn teeth! Here are some pictures of his cute toothy grin:

Happy Birthday, Carter!

It's hard to believe, but Carter turned 3 on Friday. We knew Ryan would be heading to New York on Carter's birthday, so we had his birthday party the weekend before his birthday. We decided to do a zoo themed party because Carter loves zoo animals and because we got passes to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park for his present. Thank you to everyone that was able to be at the party...we had a great time!

Rain Gutter Bookshelves

I saw a blog where someone had made bookshelves out of rain gutters for their kids' room and fell in love with them. We bought all the necessary materials last summer and just never got around to putting them up. We finally managed to finish the project and I love them even more and Carter was so excited.

Carter can only reach the bottom shelf, so I was able to put other kid books on the other two shelves that I can read to the boys but don't have to worry about them ripping the pages.


Carter loves having this shelf by his bed so he can just sit there and read his books.
