I took Carter to see his pediatrician for his 9 month checkup this morning. He weighed in at 18 lbs., 1 oz. and is 2'3.5" tall. He's only in the 15th percentile for weight and the 20th percentile for height, but his pediatrician was very happy with his progress.

Carter says, "Hey you, bring back my banana."
Carter was pretty much done with his banana at this point, but I wanted to get a picture anyway.
Carter and I were at the grocery store last night and this one lady said "she's so pretty." This isn't the first time someone has mistaken him for a girl and I just don't understand how anyone can think he's a girl. The guy behind us in line made up for that lady's comment by telling Carter he had an awesome hairdo. He gets so many complements on his hair and he just loves the attention!

Oh, you'd have to be blind to think Carter's a girl. The kid's 400% man. I mean heck, look at that devil-may-care smile... he's even flexing in the first picture! Get that kid a flannel shirt and he'll be selling paper towels by the end of the week.
Cater is growing so fast. We look forward to seeing all of you for the Hoildays

I think Carter looks very boyish! When Dylan was around Carter's age people started saying the same thing to us. After a few people made comments on our cute little girl(despite the fact he was wearing obvious boy clothes), Ken said it was time to cut his hair. After cutting his hair he didn't look like a baby any more. It was so sad. So keep his spikes as long as possible!
